The Hardware Store: Reviews and recommendations! HP PhotoSmart 618 Digital Camera HP's newest line of digital cameras are real winners. I've had my hands on the PhotoSmart 618 digital camera for about 4 weeks and I like it a lot. It's priced under $500, has
over 2,000,000 pixels of resolution, has a wide-angle lens built in (zooms out, too!), offers the ability to add an additional lens and has sound. The sound feature allows you to annotate any picture with your voice and
also gives you that "cha-chunk" sound when you take a picture. The design is clean and fits in my hand well, with all the controls laid out well. Check it out if you are looking for a new digital camera. For a
full description of features, click here.Kodak Personal Picture Maker 200 Kodak's newest inkjet printer not only prints "incredible" pictures but now has "archive" quality inks and
paper. A key feature of this printer is the new ink formulation. The new inks are made by Kodak and produce lightfast prints that will last for decades when printed on Kodak Premium Picture Paper. Another nice feature
is a small LCD monitor built right into the printer. Take your CompactFlash card out of your camera, insert it into the slot on the printer and see your pictures before you print. It is being sold in retail electronic
and computer stores and has a price of $299. For more information, click here.AV Marketplace for your Computer Projectors If you are looking for a computer projector for your own presentations or needing one for the office training room,
check out this company. This is where I buy my projectors and they are the best at what they do and the prices they offer. AV Marketplace has been supplying presentation products over 20 years. They specialize in
Computer Projectors for the mobile presenter. Rich Morgan can help you select the right projector for your needs based on resolution, brightness, weight and budget. Contact Rich and mention this e-mail and he'll take
$400 off the price and give you free shipping. His direct number is 800-509-2602 x 2239 or his e-mail is
rmorgan@avmarketplace.com. Click here for more information. The Newsstand: What's new, what's hot FIRETAP Communications: Great stuff, "Rolf" Approved! FIRETAP is a fairly new company with great
credentials that specializes in solving communication problems for the real estate industry. FIRETAP knows the real estate agent and their connectivity needs. So what do they provide? I'm glad you asked. They provide
high-speed internet access with broad-band DSL and, coming soon, affordable, high-speed satellite Internet access (which I need here in "remote" northern Iowa). They also provide equipment and advice for
setting up "wireless" networks. Every agent will need a network at some time, even just to tie together two or more computers at home to share information and a common, high-speed Internet service. If you
are a Broker looking to save money on office expenses for your communication costs like phone service, Internet access, conference calls, and more, you need to talk to FIRETAP and let them quote you a solution. The
difference between FIRETAP and any local broad-band providers or wireless network providers is that FIRETAP knows and understands the business of real estate. FIRETAP is the preferred vendor of communication solutions
for many national franchises. You may get a discount. So whether you are a lone agent in a big city or small town (like me) or a broker looking to save money on your communication expense, click here
for FIRETAP. They can quickly provide answers about service in your area and how their wireless networks can provide solutions for you.9th Annual Alaska Adventure Real Estate Conference It's time to plan
to attend the 9th Annual Alaska Adventure Real Estate Conference. The dates are for July 12-15 in Anchorage, Alaska. If you haven't heard about this conference, trust-me, you want to go. For more information about the
speakers, registration cost and housing packages, click here.
The published early bird registration is only $595, however, if you e-mail me at rolf@rolfanderson.com, I'll make you an offer you can't refuse. I can't publish my offer in this newsletter. This is a great conference, superb instructors, outstanding gourmet food and an Alaskan
experience you'll never forget. Check it out, please. The Coffee Shop: Did you hear? New Real Estate Industry Events Calendar Rolf Anderson Seminars is proud to announce a "place" for you to
see over 1400 events in the real estate industry. Whether you are an agent looking to attend different national events or an event coordinator looking to plan your event without "conflict" to other events, you
need to check out my new real estate events calendar. Included is information about seminars, trainings, conferences, conventions and tradeshows in the real estate segment. It's free and easy to use. To see this new
planning and event calendar, click here.
Computer Printed Logo Floor-Mats with YOUR picture - Really! It's a high-tech produced product designed for a low-tech use of catching dirt, but with a visable marketing effect! You can have your
"glamour" picture printed along with your logo, marketing and agent information on a floor mat. A blank floor mat, in varying available sizes, is put through a high tech, ink-jet printer and the end product is
very amazing. Use this mat at open houses, at your office or give it as a custom closing gift with a picture of you and the new home you just sold. You can purchase these mats in "oneses and twoses" for as
little as $45 for a 2x3 custom. For more information, click here. To see the home page of this web site, click here, then click on the "Positive Impressions" button.
The Barber Shop: Did you know? Internet Facts 76 million Americans are active 'net users; they get on
the web and use e-mail regularly. 135 million Americans are now connected to the web, either through home, school, libraries or at work. 27% of 'net users are relatively new to the web, having logged on for the first
time during the 12 months prior to 03-99. 70% of web users polled in April, 2000, had made an on-line purchase within the past 30 days. 333.5 million e-mail accounts are registered in the U.S. as of March, 2000. This is
an increase of 256.5 million e-mail accounts since 1998! So what's the lesson here?Pocket Real Estate Software: Your MLS in the "palm" of your hand If you don't own a PalmPilot (or a Visor)
already, just go out and buy one. If you own one you probably have it sync'ing with your Top Producer, On-Line Agent or PREP Prospecting database. The biggest movement happening around the country is the ability to have
your MLS data also on your PalmPilot for instant access to critical data. The problem is your MLS provider or Board is not acting fast enough to make this happen. Now you have another option to get your data on your
PalmPilot NOW! Check out PocketRealestate.com. They offer their software for $199 and currently have it working with many MLS vendors. It's great software and affordable. If they don't have your MLS provider on their
list yet, they will write the "conduit" for free. To see more information and a list of the vendors they currently work with, click here.

Make Your Links in Email to AOL Users "HOT" If you are doing any e-mail marketing, you know that web site URLs in e-mail to AOL users are not
normally "HOT." The AOL user must do a "cut and paste" of the web site address if they are to go to that page. Most URLs in e-mail to AOL users look like this:
http://www.fchomes.com/listings/835north13thstreet/835north13thstreet. html. If you know the "code", that address will look like this:
Click here to see my new listing
.Here's how you do it. When sending "plain text" e-mail to any AOL user, the code looks like this (put only a space between A HREF ... it may look like a new line below because there is no space between
everything else): A HREF="http://www.fchomes.com/listings/835north13thstreet/835north1 3thstreet.html">Click here to see my new listing</A.
After the A HREF=", paste in the URL or address of the
page you want the user to go. The words "Click here to see my new listing" can be whatever you want. They will be "HOT," in blue and underlined and take the user to the website URL specified in the
"code" when clicked on. If you don't have an AOL address, find an AOL user friend and experiment. Now you can create signatures "just for AOL users" that have your links and web site
information "HOT." The Tip of the Day From Michael Dowdy:
mdowdy@pacunion.com; Sonoma, Calif. "Our MLS doesn't yet have an easy download to the Palm. With Documents To Go software, however, I am able to create a "report" of all the listings in the area
with whatever info I want (Our MLS uses PC Access, ugh) and I can see the report on my Palm using Documents To Go. It's great software. Basically any Excel or Word document can be transferred and viewed on a Palm
Pilot."Thanks, Michael! For more information on Documents To Go, click here. Invite a Friend to Receive the Anderson Post
